Mission Quest believes in providing a safe and secure donation processing system to the donors and missionaries. We take internet security seriously, and our website is highly secured and protected with different levels of security and encryption. Some of the security technologies we utilize in our website are:

Security Sockets Layer (SSL) Encryption:

An online industry standard secures the entire Mission Quest website, 128-bit Security Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption. All transmissions between the donor’s computer and the Credit Card processing system are encrypted (including credit card number, name, address, the name of the missionary, etc., ) and transmitted securely every time. If someone “listens in” on the wire, they’ll only get encrypted information.

All SSL Certificates are issued to either companies or legally accountable individuals. When a browser connects to an SSL secured site it will retrieve the site’s SSL Certificate and check that it has not expired, it has been issued by a Certification Authority the browser trusts, and that it is being used by the website for which it has been issued. If it fails on any one of these checks, the browser will display a warning.

Donors will feel safe and more encouraged to give when they see this level of security. Missionaries should encourage their donors to pay attention to the safety level of the organization that processes their donations. In Mission Quest we made this very easy, your donors can validate our security levels by:

    1. Clicking on the padlock at the address bar to view more detailed SSL encryption information.
    2. Https URL prefix instead of HTTP
    3. Clicking on the SSL Certification Trust Seal below.

This helps to prevent search engine blacklisting, closes any backdoor for hackers to sneak from and preventing any hackers from seeing your information. To Verify our SiteLock status, see the seal in the bottom right corner of this page.
